Gary Perman President, PermanTech Search Group

Gary specializes in recruiting Executives through Engineers for companies in innovative, technology driven industries across North America. Since 1996 he has interviewed more than thirty thousand business professionals and has helped some of the most influential and fastest growing organizations hire the talent that drives their success.

He is known for his deep understanding of emerging vehicle technologies, intelligent transportation systems, alternative fuel commercial vehicles, and advanced manufacturing. Gary is regularly invited to speak at industry trade shows and his insights on recruitment and retention of top talent are published in leading trade publications.

 

Gary earned his Master’s degree in Communication from Eastern University and built PermanTech on a foundation of integrity, research, and long term client partnerships, not trading quality hires for quick hires.  Outside of work he is a gourmet chef, an avid hiker, and an active student of genealogy.

 

Carrie Langone, Strategic Partner, Talent Acquisition Recruiter, PermanTech

Carrie brings a strong and proven history in Talent Acquisition, Account Management, and full cycle Recruiting across Startups, Agencies, Government, Electronics, Sowftware, Aerospace, IT, and corporate business services throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Her experience covers recruiting for senior management, administrative roles, and HR business partners, with a long record of placing hard-to-find talent. Carrie has built a reputation for identifying top tier, diverse, and highly qualified candidates by staying ahead of industry changes, understanding each client’s unique environment, and adapting quickly to evolving search requirements.

Carrie is organized, diligent, and honest. She goes the extra mile, thrives in team environments, and consistently contributes to long-term hiring success and retention. Her direct business experience with PermanTech and ALLTech Employment, combined with her recent corporate recruiting work, gives her a unique perspective on the needs of fast-moving organizations and the realities of a competitive talent market.

She is experienced with a wide range of applicant tracking systems, including iCIMS, Kenexa, TALEO, PeopleSoft, and CRM platforms. Carrie’s approach is people-first, process-driven, and focused on delivering results that help PermanTech clients grow and stay ahead of industry demands.

JT – Recruitment

JT is a key contributor at PermanTech, supporting recruiting projects, online research, and candidate sourcing across the transportation, vehicle technology, and industrial sectors. He brings a strong mix of discipline, curiosity, and hands-on business experience that strengthens every search assignment.

Alongside his work with PermanTech, JT is a self-employed business owner and graduated from Concordia University.

He operates a successful online business. Through that venture he has developed real expertise in online sales, product acquisition, marketing, business development, customer service, and marketplace analytics. His ability to identify niche opportunities, source in-demand products, and manage digital storefronts gives him a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of buyer behavior.

Today JT applies all of this experience to his recruiting and research role at PermanTech. He supports market mapping, candidate identification, competitive intelligence, data validation, and online outreach. His combined education and business ownership give him a practical understanding of what high performing employees look like and what it takes to build a successful operation.

Kathrin Dodds

Database Research and Competitive Intelligence

Kathrin brings a strong background in research, data organization, and competitive intelligence to PermanTech. She is the team’s database expert, known for her accuracy, depth of analysis, and ability to uncover information that strengthens every search assignment.

She holds a Master’s degree in Library Sciences from Texas Woman’s University, where she developed advanced skills in research methodology, information architecture, and data management. Kathrin also earned a BA in Advertising and Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington, giving her a well-rounded foundation in communication, audience analysis, and professional writing.

Kathrin has supported corporate research teams and brings that same disciplined, methodical approach to PermanTech. She excels at building and maintaining complex databases, identifying market trends, validating candidate data, and uncovering the competitive insights that help our clients hire smarter and faster.

Her blend of academic training, corporate research experience, and natural curiosity makes her an essential part of the PermanTech research and sourcing team.
